Employers Turn to Personality Tests and Astrology to Find Good Fits

Organizations consider being a good fit integral to hiring, but finding that elusive quality has some employers stumped—so stumped that they are turning to personality questionnaires, astrology, and even handwriting analysis to help them find well-suited new-hires.

Employers have no trouble finding applicants with the necessary credentials and experience to fill a position due to the high number of qualified candidates searching for jobs. However, no one wants to make a hire only to find that the individual is a poor fit within the organization. This situation has led employers to use personality tests as well as non-traditional assessments to evaluate candidates’ compatibility with the organization.
