Even under the most favorable circumstances, job hunting is stressful. Is it any wonder, then, when job seekers resort to help from generative artificial intelligence (gen AI)? After all, employers have been using AI-driven applicant tracking systems (ATS) for a couple of decades, gaining what many consider an unfair advantage.
Isn’t it understandable if job hunters want to turn the tables, level the playing field, with AI-enhanced job applications? No question. However, this AI-made application “arms race” is not helpful to anyone.
